Well in Montreal it’s a different story. We’re harsh and they know it. We can be the best fans in the world and sometimes the worst, that’s how we’ve always been, since the very beginning. You do good? Great! We’ll treat you with respect. But when you put absolutely 0 effort in games that people pay up to fucking $600 to watch, we will not treat you the same. Even if they were losing really badly but you at least saw some effort being put into these games and you saw that they were really trying, then we would recognize the heart they put into that game and cheer them on. But when you go to a fucking game and they can’t even pass the puck properly because their too busy staring at the ceiling, I would be pissed too. We have every right to boo a team that hasn’t lived up to its name for almost 20 years. Our standards are the higher than any other team because when you win 24 Stanley Cups, who wouldn’t want to win 24 more. At every game you hear “Go Habs Go” chants when they just got scored on and stuff like that. But when you see they’re not even trying to put the puck in back of the net, it’s really fucking frustrating and I would boo them too.
